Get Help Israel — The Israel Association of Mental Health Professionals

Terms of Use

Get Help Israel is the sole interpreter of the rules of conduct described in these Terms of Use. Users (Therapists, Psychiatrists, Life Coaches, and Treatment Facilities) who violate these rules may have their membership and use of the website suspended or terminated at Get Help Israel's discretion. We may at any time take any action with regard to user materials and/or membership that we deem to be necessary or appropriate at Get Help Israel's sole discretion.

REGISTRATION

Get Help Israel will request detailed information from registrants, including name and email address. Registrants must provide true and accurate registration information. Registrants will be required to maintain and update their profile information and data, and to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.

Get Help Israel reserves the right to remove any registrants from its directory at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Registrants posting misleading, incorrect or fraudulent information will have their profile information immediately removed from the website without warning and without refund.

Get Help Israel will assign all registrants a user name and password upon registration. Registrants may not share their account, user name or password with anyone else. Get Help Israel must be notified immediately of any unauthorized use of the aforementioned information.

RULES OF CONDUCT

The registrant understands that he/she will be included in Get Help Israel's directory and is expected to abide by professional codes of conduct. The registrant agrees to respond to any contact made by clients within 48 hours.

The sending of unsolicited commercial email to Get Help Israel's users is strictly prohibited. Additionally, therapists may not respond to postings by other users in any manner or for any purpose other than that which is expected and agree to report any and all emails that contain threatening or discriminatory content, solicitation, or spam. Get Help Israel assumes no responsibility for emails or calls made through any of the Get Help Israel channels, including but not limited to the website and the Mental Health Resource Guide publication.

Get Help Israel is under no obligation to monitor user conduct, but we may investigate and respond when violations are reported. The ethics committee is set up to ensure that therapists listed under GHI’s auspices are practicing at the highest standard of ethical practice. When a complaint is received about a therapist, the committee conducts an impartial investigation by speaking with the client filing the complaint and the therapist against whom the complaint is made. If it’s not a clear ethical violation, the committee provides the therapist with suggestions for improvement. If the investigation proves that a serious ethical violation indeed took place, or if multiple complaints against the same therapist have been made, the committee reserves the right to permanently terminate the therapist's membership. The ethics committee will guide the person making the complaint to present their concern to the recognized professional licensing body. All ethics cases are kept strictly confidential. The role and function of the ethics committee is for the sole purpose of determining eligibility for membership and has no bearing on the therapist's professional license. We are not required to make any such investigation or to remove any member, and we will not be held liable to any user making a complaint.

Get Help Israel is a conduit of information and activities, but in no way monitors therapist Submissions, or any Submissions for that matter.

Get Help Israel does not validate the information or advice provided by therapist, nor is Get Help Israel involved in any way with the substance of that relationship or the advice or information given therein.

Get Help Israel is under no obligation to monitor the materials posted on the website by the registrants, but we may monitor materials at random.
