TREATING CHRONIC PAIN AND FATIGUE

Course Overview

This course delivers a clear treatment strategy for those living with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, IBS, back pain, migraines, etc. The course outlines a methodology that combines CBT/DBT interventions and coaching techniques, creating a pathway to wellness that is both effective and accessible.

The course will cover:

  • Deciphering the nature of pain and pain perception
  • Cognitive-behavioral techniques
  • Case studies
  • Current trends in chronic illness
  • Developmental issues and their impact on illness
  • Depression, anxiety and other comorbidities
  • Tracking, pain hacks and interventions that work
  • Why doctors are failing these patients

The course will include four three-hour sessions, held in four consecutive weeks in January.

Sara Halevi, MA

Sara Halevi, MA, is a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist and Certified Life Coach. She has been treating people with Fibromyalgia and other chronic conditions for more than 30 years. She is the author of three books on the treatment of Fibromyalgia, and has a fourth book in progress. She has lectured on this topic in Israel and abroad, and is an adjunct instructor at the Jerusalem Coaching Institute.
