This workshop will help you learn about various assessment tools that can provide an invaluable window into your client’s functioning, saving precious time and helping you do your most effective work. You will learn enough to be able to understand psychological and neuropsychological assessment reports and use the results effectively with your clients.

This presentation will provide an overview of the different domains typically assessed with a brief review of major assessment measures and a review of how to understand assessment results. Therapists will learn about the effective use of targeted and comprehensive assessment batteries as a tool for enhancing their effectiveness with their clients, as well as when a referral for assessment is appropriate. Case examples will be used of typical referrals for child, adolescent and adult populations.
