Presenter: Alexandra Rafaeli, Psy.D
Date: June 6, 2023
Time: 19:00-21:00 IST

Course Overview

In the mental health field, ethical principles form the foundation of professional practice. Upholding ethical standards is not only critical for ensuring the wellbeing of clients, but it is also essential for maintaining the integrity and credibility of the mental health profession as a whole.

This workshop aims to provide mental health professionals with the knowledge, tools, and best practices needed to navigate complex ethical challenges that arise in the course of their work. Through interactive discussions and case examples, we will explore ethical issues such as decision-making processes, boundary-setting, telemental health, confidentiality and privacy considerations when working with minors, and more.

We kindly request that participants of this workshop submit de-identified questions, dilemmas, and case scenarios by June 1, 2023. Dr. Rafaeli will focus the workshop content on the pertinent issues that have been submitted.

NOTE:This workshop will be recorded but live participation is encouraged. This workshop has been designed as an interactive discussion rather than a traditional lecture, providing participants with ample opportunities to engage in meaningful dialogue and share insights and perspectives.
