Course Overview

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is an increasingly popular therapeutic approach to help address a wide range of mental health concerns. This 3-hour seminar will focus on useable ACT-based approaches and techniques that clinicians can incorporate into their work with people experiencing trauma-related challenges.

By the end of the seminar, clinicians will gain:

  • An understanding of the core principles of ACT
  • How to formulate cases from an ACT perspective
  • Practical techniques for using ACT in a therapeutic setting

Dr. Ethan Eisen

Dr. Ethan Eisen is a licensed clinical psychologist who earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University. Ethan has extensive clinical and research experience working with trauma-related challenges in diverse populations. In addition to trauma-focused therapies, Ethan studied ACT at some of the top training facilities in the United States, including the National Institutes of Health, and a number of VA medical centers around the country. Ethan moved to Israel fours years ago, and currently has a private practice in Ramat Beit Shemesh and Jerusalem, and is a therapist and research consultant for Kav L'Noar in Jerusalem.
