I coach and support adults wanting to heal trauma, release addictions, change repeating thought and behaviour patterns, discover meaning and purpose, and experience life in a more positive joyous way.
A mid-life crisis 20 years ago caused mainly by career dissatisfaction (the world of technology and project management) led me to undertake a Master’s degree in Coaching and to finding my purpose and passion: to assist people to bring about positive transformation in their lives and to support them on their journeys.
In the two decades since then I have found that my clients ask the same questions I’ve asked myself: What’s my purpose? What makes my heart sing? What’s blocking me from doing what I want to do, from achieving what I want to achieve, from having loving harmonious relationships, from being a good parent, from becoming unstuck? What does being authentic and true to myself look like? What do I really believe about myself and about life, and how are those beliefs manifesting in my life? Why do I keep on having the same kinds of problems? What do I need to do to solve them? How do I do it? And so on…
All of these questions are aimed towards Self-discovery. Personal development. Healing. Transformation. Manifestation. Self-actualisation. Helping my clients in all of these areas is what I do.
In recent years I have developed a specific interest in healing trauma (which all of us have to a greater or lesser degree) and overcoming addictions, and to this end I certified in Quantum Energy Coaching. This powerful process works with the subconscious mind where most of our issues lie, and can result in seemingly miraculous change, including healing at the physical level.
Although my own life experience, my educational qualifications and my 20 years’ coaching experience are key factors, I believe that above all it is my presence and intention that enables me to assist my clients and to facilitate the desired changes in their lives: I see you, I hear you, I feel you. When I’m with you, I am fully present listening to you, giving you 100% of my focus and attention, with your desired outcomes and best interests as my intention.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on how one's thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected and can be changed. It is based on the idea that how we think (cognition) and how we feel (emotion) can influence how we behave. CBT helps people identify and challenge distorted thinking and replace it with more balanced thinking, leading to improved mood and behavior. ‘Homework’, usually containing practical writing exercises, is often completed by the client between sessions to reinforce the therapy. Examples of tools that practitioners often use are journaling, challenging beliefs, and mindfulness.
Gestalt TherapyGestalt therapy is an experiential, humanistic approach to psychotherapy that emphasizes personal responsibility, and that focuses on the individual's experience in the present moment. It explores an individual's emotions, behaviors, and thoughts, and how they may be influencing one another. It is rooted in the belief that people are responsible for their own experience, and that they can make conscious choices to improve their lives. The goal of gestalt therapy is to help individuals gain insight into their current experiences and to become aware of how their behaviors and thoughts shape their present reality.
