Your life is not going the way it was supposed to. You're not as happy as you once were, and as everyone else seems to be. You're feeling alone, and you want desperately for all of this to change. I know the pain of being lonely and adrift, and I can help you create the fulfilling relationships and life that you're longing for.
Every client comes to therapy looking for something a little different. In order to meet my clients where they are, I offer different approaches to helping you achieve what you've come to therapy to work on. I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and AEDP, which are therapy modalities that help you get to the root of what is going on, beneath what we see. By working with the core instead of the surface, you will heal the deepest parts of you, not just the symptoms. You'll make changes that last long after you graduate from therapy. I also specialize in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for clients who are looking for more structure, and to focus on learning skills and applying them for targeted, direct change in their day-to-day coping and functioning. You'll figure out which thoughts and behaviors are holding you back from living life according to your values, and we'll work on replacing those with more helpful ways of thinking and acting.
I am particularly experienced at working with couples and relationships, whether you're looking to grow closer and more connected or feel that you're at the brink of separating. I will jump right in there with you and help you find your way back to each other. If you're struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, or tics, I can help you learn and apply the principles of CBT to improve those symptoms that are getting in the way of your daily life. Consistent guidance and practice will help you return to a life where you're in control.
My role is to support and guide you as you work to discover yourself and heal your relationships. Email or call me today so we can set up a free phone consultation, and you can take your first step to the fulfilling life you deserve.
I offer in-person sessions in Romema, or virtual sessions through Zoom or phone.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on how one's thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected and can be changed. It is based on the idea that how we think (cognition) and how we feel (emotion) can influence how we behave. CBT helps people identify and challenge distorted thinking and replace it with more balanced thinking, leading to improved mood and behavior. ‘Homework’, usually containing practical writing exercises, is often completed by the client between sessions to reinforce the therapy. Examples of tools that practitioners often use are journaling, challenging beliefs, and mindfulness.
Emotion-Focused TherapyEmotion-focused therapy (EFT) is a type of psychotherapy that is based on the idea that emotions play a key role in a person’s mental health. EFT focuses on helping people to identify, accept, and manage their emotions in a healthy and productive way. The goal of EFT is to help people identify and express their emotions, understand how those emotions impact their behavior, and learn how to manage their emotions in a way that is adaptive and healthy. EFT is a research-based approach to psychotherapy that has been found to be effective in helping people manage a variety of mental health conditions. It has been used successfully in the treatment of individuals, couples, and families, as well as with groups. EFT is particularly beneficial for people who struggle with emotional regulation, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.
