DESCRIPTION

Codependents Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women whose shared purpose is to develop healthy relationships. The only requirement for membership in CoDA is a desire to have healthy and fulfilling relationships. We meet to support one another and to share in a journey of self-discovery, and to learn to love ourselves. Living according to the program allows each of us, over time, to become more whole with ourselves, our family history, and our codependent behaviors.

We rely on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) as a source of knowledge and wisdom. These are the principles of our program and the guidelines through which we develop healthy and fulfilling relationships with ourselves and others. In CoDA, each person learns to build a relationship with God as they understand Him; each of us has the right to that. The renewal that comes through this process is the gift of recovery. Through active work in the CoDA program, each of us can experience new joy, acceptance, and honesty.
